March!

The sun came out, the quilt got washed and all crinkly, so I'm going to make you sit through a few pics again :)

Butterfly Baby Quilt

My favorite blocks are the ones with the little western scenes. How cute are they?!? Charlie even liked them, because some of them had horse carriages. I couldn't believe he noticed such tiny little wheels, but why do I doubt? He's a toddler boy. His life revolves around wheels, lol. All day long, I hear his favorite word, "vroom vroom!". Adorable.

Love how puffy it got from the wash! Now if I could ever get a chance to go to the UPS store....

Butterfly Baby Quilt

I got my Something New Sampler blocks sashed together, shown here. I actually sewed the rest of the quilt top since then, just surrounding it in a field of gray, and basted it tonight. Too many quilting options...

Something New Sampler Blocks - assembling begins!

My favorite block is usually whichever one I'm looking at, but in pictures, those cathedral windows sure do look stunning...thanks Heidi!!

Something New Sampler Blocks - assembling begins!

So my goals for March are to quilt this bad boy...to piece another baby blanket (this time for my husband's cousin, who is having another baby)...and to catch up on my bee blocks (yikes...I seriously need to get better at this one!!).
